Isle of Sheppey Cycle Routes Project
During
February and March 2010 local people will be able to have
their say on plans to
develop new
cycle routes in Sheerness and Leysdown. The project is the
result of
partnership
working between Kent County Council and Swale Borough
Council, with the
support of
Sustrans, the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity.
This
project will result in around 18.5km of promoted cycle
routes, parts of which will
also be
available to walk, and where possible it will be accessible
for those with
disabilities.
The
consultation display will be in several locations throughout
the consultation period.
